Clyde R. Dangerfield

Clyde Dangerfield’s practice focuses on education law, school district governance, civil litigation, and government relations.

For over 20 years before joining Cantelme & Brown, Clyde was a senior-level school district administrator. From 1995 to 2014, he served as the Assistant Superintendent for Business, Legal and Government Relations at the Gilbert Unified School District.

Clyde has extensive experience with a variety of school district issues, having served as president of the Board of Trustees for the Arizona School Risk Retention Trust, president of the School Construction Insurance Pool, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arizona School Alliance for Worker’s Compensation Insurance. He is past president (2005-2006) of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials.

He has retired as an adjunct professor, having taught Legal Aspects of School Administration, School Finance, and Special Education Law at Northern Arizona University and has taught school business management at Arizona State University. He also has experience with Special Education Law.
